
About Celia
Celia represents employers in single-plaintiff employment litigation and PAGA representative actions, as well as in pre-litigation negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations. She also defends clients before administrative agencies, including the California Civil Rights Department, the Department of Labor, the Labor Commissioner, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Celia provides day-to-day advice and counsel to employers on a wide range of workplace issues, including employee discipline and discharge, policy development, handbook compliance, and wage and hour matters. She also regularly delivers Respect in the Workplace (anti-harassment) training to management and employees.
In addition, Celia advises businesses on disability access laws, including compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Unruh Act, the California Disabled Persons Act, the Fair Housing Act, ADA Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG), and California’s Title 24 building regulations.
