San Francisco's Paid Sick Leave Rules Become Effective June 6, 2007

San Francisco’s much publicized Paid Sick Leave Ordinance will become effective on June 6, 2007, following the conclusion of the four month transition period. The Office of Labor Standards Enforcement has issued rules and frequently asked questions to assist employers and employees as they attempt to implement the program and understand how it affects them both.
